My conclusion after researching gematria and the spanish language is that the spanish language was also built on this 26 letter alphabetic cipher system. The same patterns that are found in English are found in Spanish.

Ordinal: A=1, B=2...etc Z=26

Reduction: reduce every letter to a single digit before adding. A=1, I=9, J the 10th, 1+0=1, J=1. Z the 26th, 2+6=8, Z=8. R, the 18th, 1+8=9, R=9.

S-exception: S, the 19th, is the only letter you have to reduce twice to get to a single digit. S can be worth 1 or 10. (add 9 to reduced value)

K/V exception: K and V are the 11th and 22nd letters of the alphabet. These two numbers are master numbers in numerology. K can be worth 2 or 11 (add 9 to reduced value). V can be worth 4 or 22 (add 18 to reduced value).
